StackGrade allows users to permanently delete their accounts directly through the Platform. This page explains what happens when an account is deleted. How to Delete Your Account Users can request account deletion through the StackGrade application settings. Path example: Settings → Account → Delete Account What Happens When You Delete Your Account When your account is deleted, StackGrade may permanently remove associated information including: User profile information Projects and job opportunities created by the account Applications submitted through the Platform Saved jobs and saved profiles Uploaded files and CVs Profile images and company logos Notification subscriptions Authentication records associated with the account Some technical backup data may temporarily remain in secure systems for operational, fraud prevention, or legal purposes before automatic deletion. Permanent Deletion Account deletion is intended to be permanent. Once deletion is completed: your profile may no longer be recoverable; your public information may disappear from the Platform; and associated content may no longer be accessible. Third-Party Services Some data may continue to be processed temporarily by trusted infrastructure providers used by StackGrade, including cloud hosting and authentication services. These providers process information according to their own security and retention procedures. By using the Platform, users agree to maintain respectful, lawful, and professional behavior. Professional Conduct Users should: communicate respectfully; provide accurate information; maintain professional interactions; and use the Platform for legitimate opportunities and collaboration. Prohibited Content and Behavior Users may not: impersonate another person or company; publish misleading or fraudulent opportunities; upload malicious files or harmful content; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; post discriminatory or illegal content; misuse profile information obtained through StackGrade; scrape or harvest Platform data without authorization; or use StackGrade for spam or unsolicited advertising. Professional Opportunities Recruiters and project owners are responsible for ensuring that: opportunities are legitimate; information is accurate; compensation details are not intentionally misleading; and hiring-related activity complies with applicable laws. Public Information Users are responsible for the information they choose to make visible within StackGrade, including: resumes/CVs; email addresses; WhatsApp numbers; portfolio links; and external contact information. Enforcement StackGrade reserves the right to: remove content; restrict visibility; suspend accounts; or permanently terminate access for users who violate these Guidelines, the Terms of Service, or applicable laws. Delete Account Confirmation Deleting your account is permanent and may remove your profile, applications, projects, uploaded files, and related data from StackGrade.
