About StackGrade StackGrade is a professional platform designed to connect developers and recruiters through job opportunities, collaborative projects, and professional profiles. The Platform allows: Developers to create profiles, apply to opportunities, create community projects, and showcase professional experience and skills. Recruiters to publish job opportunities, discover developer talent, and manage applicants. 2. Eligibility StackGrade is intended for users who are at least 16 years old. By using the Platform, you represent that: you are at least 16 years old; and you comply with the employment and digital consent laws applicable in your country or region. Users under the age of 18 should use the Platform under appropriate supervision where required by local law. 3. Information We Collect We collect information that you provide directly when creating or managing your account and profile. 3.1 Account Information When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we may collect: Full name Email address Profile photo Authentication identifiers provided by Google 3.2 Developer Profile Information If you create a Developer profile, we may collect: Professional role Seniority level Biography Technologies and skills Work experience Availability status Preferred work modality Expected salary Portfolio links GitHub profile Personal website links WhatsApp number (optional) Resume/CV files (optional) City and country location Open to Work status Public Profile preference 3.3 Recruiter and Company Information If you create a Recruiter profile, we may collect: Company name Company logo Company biography Company size Industry Recruiter type Job title or position External company links 3.4 Uploaded Files Users may upload files including: Resume/CV PDF files Profile images Company logos Uploaded files are stored using secure cloud infrastructure. 3.5 Notifications Information We may collect information necessary to send push notifications, including notification topic subscriptions and messaging tokens. 4. Public Profile Information Certain information may become visible to other users within StackGrade depending on your profile settings and Platform activity. 4.1 Developer Profiles Developer profiles may include publicly visible information such as: Name Profile photo Biography Technologies and skills Work experience Professional role Seniority level Availability and work modality Salary expectations Portfolio and external links City and country Verification badges Open to Work status WhatsApp number (if voluntarily added) Email address Resume/CV files (if voluntarily uploaded and shared) Developers may control profile visibility through the Public Profile setting available within the Platform. If Public Profile is disabled, recruiter users may no longer be able to discover or access the profile through StackGrade discovery features. 4.2 Recruiter and Company Visibility Recruiter profiles are not publicly browsable within StackGrade. However, certain company information associated with job opportunities may be visible to users, including: Company name Company logo Company biography 5. Applications and Opportunity Data When users apply to jobs or projects through StackGrade, application information may become accessible to the owner of the related opportunity. Applications submitted through StackGrade are private and are only visible to the owner or authorized managers of the corresponding project or job opportunity. Application data may include: Profile information Resume/CV files Contact information Professional experience Related profile metadata 6. How We Use Information We use collected information to: Create and manage accounts Authenticate users Provide Platform functionality Display professional profiles Enable job and project applications Match developers and recruiters Send notifications related to Platform activity Maintain Platform security Prevent abuse and unauthorized activity Improve and maintain Platform services Comply with legal obligations We do not sell personal information to third parties. 7. Third-Party Services StackGrade relies on trusted third-party providers to operate the Platform. These providers may process certain information on our behalf. Current providers may include: Google Sign-In Firebase Authentication Firebase Firestore Firebase Cloud Storage Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Firebase Cloud Functions Firebase App Check Google Places API Future versions of the Platform may integrate additional providers such as payment processors or subscription services. 8. External Links and Third-Party Contact Profiles may include links to external platforms and services including GitHub, portfolio websites, personal websites, and WhatsApp. StackGrade does not control external websites, services, or communications that occur outside the Platform. Users are responsible for the information they voluntarily share through external services. 9. Push Notifications StackGrade may send push notifications related to: New applications Platform updates Opportunity activity Account-related events Users may disable notifications through their device settings at any time. 10. Data Storage and Security We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information. Uploaded files and Platform data are protected using access control and cloud security mechanisms. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. 11. Data Retention We retain information only for as long as necessary to operate the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When accounts are deleted, associated personal data may also be removed from our systems, including related files, projects, applications, and authentication records, subject to technical and legal requirements. 12. Account Deletion Users may request account deletion directly through the Platform. When an account is deleted, StackGrade may delete associated information including: Profile data Uploaded files Projects and job opportunities Applications Saved items Authentication records Related cloud storage content Certain technical backup data may temporarily remain in secure systems for operational or legal purposes before permanent deletion. 13. International Users StackGrade may be accessed from multiple countries including regions in Latin America and the United States. By using the Platform, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in countries where cloud infrastructure providers operate. 14. Children's Privacy StackGrade is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that information from a child under 16 has been collected, we may take steps to delete such information. 15. Future Services and Platform Changes StackGrade may introduce new features and services in future versions, including premium subscriptions, payment processing, advanced recruiter tools, and additional professional discovery features.
